These are some of the things that caught my eye over the last week or so. There’s no theme, no rhyme or reason, as is the style of my web browsing. A little bit of this and a little bit of that for your weekend.
- Ten Kid’s Activities to Practice Fine Motor Control at Picklebums. These are important skills for kids and ones they can easily practice through play given the right “tools”.
- Walk, walk, walk, walk, walk at Wisebread. A timely reminder (especially as it’s tough to get off one’s butt in the winter) of how easy it is to incorporate walking into your day.
- Wall Mounted Command Centre at Organize. I want this in my house.
- A New, Quick Way to Keep a Non-Journal at The Happiness Project. I think this is a fantastic way to record memories that will actually be looked at and re-read in years to come.
- Learn Genetics from University of Utah. This has great explanations of DNA, genes, chromosomes and the like which I found helped me to understand how my leukaemia and the drugs that control it work.
- Thinking Like a Genius at Study Guides and Strategies. Because I don’t.
I hope where ever you are that you have a wonderful weekend 🙂
ooh I want that command centre… do you think it would magically make me more organised??? Thanks for the linky love 🙂
The command centre’s great isn’t it. I somehow doubt that it would stay looking like that long at my house though. We can always dream
