Recharge

I love Wednesdays. It’s the one day I get to be a real homebody. No errands to run (if I’m organised), no after school activities, no kinder drop offs and pick ups.  All that running around is wearying. I’m an introvert and I need some hermit time to recharge.

This Wednesday is extra special. I have possibly my most favourite appliance in the world back. My coffee machine.

Originally I bought it for The Thinker. I was forgoing coffee at the time, in case it made my babies crazed insomniacs via breast milk. I’ve reclaimed it now and it is mine. All mine.

So today, I’m savouring my coffee. Its “not a latte, not a cappucino” creaminess. The magnificent smell that fills the kitchen. The warmth of the cup in my hands. And I’m recharging.
