Smiley Saturday
As part of my Happiness Project, I’ll be taking part in Lightening’s Smiley Saturday’s a bit more regularly.
- This week I started My Happy Pages. It’s another little blog where most days I record a few lines about what made me smile.
- Excitement is building for The Engineer’s birthday next week. He will be 7! It hardly seems like any time at all that we were bringing home a new baby, with absolutely no idea what to do with him
- We are really enjoying the school holidays. It’s so nice not to have to rush around in the mornings. On the whole the kids have been happily occupied, even though the weather has been dreadful.
- The lavender, rosemary and some other bush with lovely purple flowers (no idea what it’s called) are brightening up our garden during the bleak, windy days. It’s so nice to look out the window and see some flowers around.
- I got a good report from my haemotologist and am still feeling much better on my new medication.

Ah ha, some-one else with a seven year old engineer. A word of warning, worms and microwaves don’t mix…..yes he did, and then fed them to his older brother.
