Checkup day

Today was checkup day with my haematologist. I got my first leukaemia marker test back since I started my new medication. I’m happy to say that it seems to be doing the trick and the tests are once again headed in a downward direction. Woo Hoo :-)

That means I don’t have to have a bone marrow biopsy in June. Double Woo Hoo :-D

Some added benefits are I am feeling much more energetic (hence my new enthusiam for gardening, baking and blogging to name a few) and much less like my head is stuffed with cotton wool, in lieu of brains.

I rewarded myself for such good results by doing a little bit of shopping (bought a nice, cuddly jumper and a pair of pants).

So today’s post is a little short one, as I’ve been out most of the day. I’m working on a post about chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) which will be ready some time on the weekend. If you’re interested to “know all about it” don’t forget to drop back in.
