Trish, I only got the Simple Savings newsletter/weekly tips for a long time, thinking that a membership wouldn’t be worthwhile. Since joining I’ve found plenty of ideas on how to cut back. Sure some of them are old, but many of these are the tried and true type. There are new tips coming in every day and a very active forum as well.

thanks for these links – I like the idea of simple savings site but I heard it has a lot of outdated information now so I am reluctant to join.
The weekly tips are sometimes relevant.
