Organised Home shows how to create a menu plan.

I’m an Organising Junkie hosts Menu Plan Monday each week. If you’re having trouble coming up with your own menus, check out some of these. Last week there were 269 contributers!

Hillbilly Housewife provides a detailed menu and shopping list to feed a family of 4-6 for a week for $45.

General tips

Mrs Rocket shows how she shops for her family of five for less than $200/month at Rocket Finance.

thanks for these links – I like the idea of simple savings site but I heard it has a lot of outdated information now so I am reluctant to join.
The weekly tips are sometimes relevant.

Trish, I only got the Simple Savings newsletter/weekly tips for a long time, thinking that a membership wouldn’t be worthwhile. Since joining I’ve found plenty of ideas on how to cut back. Sure some of them are old, but many of these are the tried and true type. There are new tips coming in every day and a very active forum as well.
